Gonder or Debarq to Sankeber

Early morning drive to Sankeber camp via the settlement of Michibiny. Sankaber to Gich

Gich to EmetGogo
This section of the trek follows a trail through spectacular Afro-alpine flora (massive Senecio plants etc) across the eastern part of Gich plateau before following the edge of the cliff and rejoining the road just before Chennek. This camp provides the most remarkable overnight location in the entire trek. After an early breakfast and on the back of the horse should you feel a bit bushed, you will enjoy a short hike taking you to one of the most striking spots that nature has to offer any place in the world.The uttermost of EmetGogo which you will reach after anunperturbed and entertaining trek is without a doubt the best spot in the park. The 360 degree outlook that EmetGogo has to offer is a panoramic view that no camera shot can do justice.
A relaxed lunch at EmetGogo and a few stops at yet other fascinating stops before returning to the Camp in Gich where you will get the chance to spot Lammagiers. Overnight in Gich camp with serene atmosphere and a lot of fun including good service of local dinner. You can get any drinks in the camp including alcoholic drinks like beer and wine.
Gichto Chenek
This is the most arguably spectacular camp than the others. The main (grime) road winds its way up the crumple to an altitude of around 4,200m, from where numerousmarks can be taken to other sections of the newlyextended National Park. This area is prominent habitat for two of the Simien’s endemic animals – the Walia ibex and Simien fox. WaliaIbex are normally seen around Chennek and Bwahit Pass, while detections of Simien fox require a bit more grit.
This is found at Arkwasiye where intended resettlement of a village has enabled the establishment of a narrow ‘wildlife corridor’ between Bwahit Pass and the Silki-KidisYared park extension. Mount Buahit gives you a distant view of the highest mountain in Ethiopia mount RasDejen. And if you have already seen the majestic endemic Walia ibex at Cheneck, the peak of Buahit gets you closer to large flocks. After all the wonderful time back to historical place Gondar.
